Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TOTAL HAVACILIK İÇ VE DIŞ TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ (“Total Technic”, “we”) collects, uses, and protects personal data of visitors and customers of totaltechnic.aero. It is intended to satisfy both the disclosure duties of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”, Article 10) and the transparency requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”, Articles 13–14) for international visitors.

2. What data we collect

Identity & contact: name, work email, phone, company name.
Request data: RFQ content, part numbers, message text.
Technical: IP address, browser/device data, cookies, usage logs.

3. Purposes of processing

Receiving and responding to enquiries and RFQs;
Quoting and performing MRO services and the related contract;
Customer-relationship management and service-quality improvement;
Site security, prevention of abuse, and functional operation;
Compliance with legal obligations (aviation authorities, tax/audit).

4. Legal bases

We rely on the following bases under KVKK Articles 5–6 and GDPR Article 6:

Performance of, or steps prior to, a contract with you/your employer (KVKK 5/2-c · GDPR 6(1)(b));
Compliance with a legal obligation (KVKK 5/2-ç · GDPR 6(1)(c));
Our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site and our business, balanced against your rights (KVKK 5/2-f · GDPR 6(1)(f));
Your explicit consent, where the bases above do not apply (KVKK 5/1 · GDPR 6(1)(a)).

5. Sharing and recipients

We share personal data only as needed and with appropriate safeguards: competent public authorities (e.g. DGCA/SHGM, EASA, FAA) where required; service providers acting under contract (hosting, email, IT, analytics); and business partners where necessary to fulfil your request. We do not sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside Türkiye or the EEA, the transfer is made under safeguards required by KVKK Article 9 and, for EEA personal data, under GDPR Chapter V (e.g. adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, or your explicit consent).

7. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above and for periods required by law (e.g. tax, aviation record-keeping). After that, data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11 (Turkish data subjects) and GDPR Articles 15–22 (EEA data subjects), you may request: access; correction of inaccurate data; deletion/erasure; restriction; objection (including to legitimate-interest processing and direct marketing); data portability; not to be subject to solely automated decisions with significant effects; and information on cross-border transfers and recipients.

9. How to exercise your rights / complaints

Send your request to info@totaltechnic.aero. We respond within 30 days (KVKK) or one month (GDPR). You may also lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu) at kvkk.gov.tr, or with your local EU supervisory authority where GDPR applies.
